Everything's fine, measuring right on target, heartbeat great, movement great, blood pressure perfect, didn't gain any weight, and still refusing an induction
I'm so mean.So he goes into this schpeal about how the baby's just getting bigger and blah blah blah and I'm at a higher risk for a c-section if I don't give birth soon (to which I literally snorted and asked "and you're saying I'm not at a higher risk for a c-section having an induction with a Bishop score of 4?!") Even Mike was laughing because he started backtracking over what he'd said when it became obvious that I too knew what I was talking about and that my decision not to induce until (God forbid) 42 weeks was an educated and informed one.
So, as a compromise, I agreed to go back tomorrow (at 10 freaking 30 in the MORNING!
Yikes!) for an NST. If it comes back normal, he'll see me next Wednesday at which time I will get an internal (I refused one today -- didn't see the point since I'm refusing induction) and IF it's favorable (Bishop score of 6+), I will be induced shortly thereafter. Of course, hopefully I will go on my own before then, but, I've just about given up hope on that lolJess
