NST Update

Well, it was an adventure lol

I get in there, they put the belts on me, and within seconds, Sprout is LITERALLY rolling around and kicking and punching and literally knocked the monitor clear off my belly twice lol Then, we couldn't find the heartbeat again (I knew it was there because I was still getting kicked lol) and they FINALLY found it and the little brat sat perfectly still for 30 minutes lol The doctor came in and was getting ready to write up an order to send me to L&D for more "intensive" monitoring when Sprout FINALLY decided to move, and we got a "beautifully reactive strip" within three minutes :-D

So, no induction for me thus far!! :-D I'm so incredibly happy that we were able to get a reactive strip, because as sure as I was that not inducing was the right choice for us, there's always that little nagging doubt in the back of my mind that I'm putting Sprout in danger somehow, and the fact we got a reactive strip means that the placenta is fine and my risk of stillbirth due to placental breakdown (which is a concern when you're past 40 weeks) is very very low :) I feel SO much better about our decision not to induce :)
