We've moved!

We're moved into the Pediatric wing now! It's right around the corner from our old room on the same floor :) The upside is that we have a private bathroom and shower.. the downside is that there's no big person bed, only a little loveseat. Mike is going to spend the night at Ron's House while I stay here. Boo on him for being able to get a full night's sleep! :P

But Zach is sleeping comfortably in his new crib :) It's nice not to have him in that warmer unit!

They didn't hook him up to any monitors, so I can only assume that they're just going to let us hang out until morning, make sure he's still feeding well and not having any episdoes, and then letting us schedule a followup visit with Dr. W and the go home! Yea!!

Here's a couple of pictures to tide you over
This is Zach sleeping happily on Daddy's shoulder earlier this morning

And in case you're wondering why I only have pictures of him sleeping, it's because he's a little piggy butt and if his eyes are open, then his mouth is also full :P

Well, that's all for now! I'll update when I know more :)

Jess, he is such a beautiful baby. Absolutely beautiful. I love looking at his pictures. AND...of course, I'm so glad to hear you will be heading home soon. It's wonderful that he is doing so well. I've been reading your blog faithfully (checking every few hours for new updates) and it's been nice that you've been able to keep us all updated! We've all been pulling for you guys.

Take care, Jen :)

Jess,

Oh how wonderful to have all the "junk" (big time medicual term)removed. It's a circus act when trying to hold a baby with all the contraptions they're connected to. The end is finally in sight. Yay!!!!

Zach has been in my thoughts night and day and I've been praying for a quick and complete recovery.

I love your blog - it is so well written and makes the reader feel like she's sitting next to you listening to you explain what's going on. You have such a beautiful family. It won't be long until you're all back together.
